What distinguishes you most from your opponent(s)?
I am not being supported by the development industry. Over 100k dollars contributed thus far with probably more to come.

I believe in A-T-I-T: Accountability, Transparency, Integrity and Truthfulness. My opponent is challenged in each of those attributes. I also respected my fellow Commissioners. Ryan Boylston has been acting as de facto Mayor since April 2023 — SHAMEFULLY!

Never fined for ethics/other violations. My opponent has been fined by the Inspector General.

I am independent of any interest groups. He is the latest installment of what’s left of the city’s political machine. I have been running against it since 2006.

YES. In order to protect the charm of our “Village by the Sea” and temper the rapid development, we must preserve this one iconic section of Delray Beach.

Pension benefits for city public safety workers have increased and public safety costs are roughly half the city budget. Is this appropriate, and would you support additional increases?
The cost to the city for these “services and salaries” have increased during election times, thanks to my opponent, Ryan Boylston, in some cases, but across all municipalities also. The competition for public safety personnel has always been one of the driving forces for this situation. There was no interviews this time w/the unions. He automatically got them all.

Union contracts need to be examined continually, the community should be more involved with this situation and in the case of fire, there could be additional fees to help generate additional targeted revenues (as in Boca Raton).

Do you think the city’s building height limits are too low, too high or just right, and would you pledge to oppose any easing of height restrictions in the future?
Just right. We do not wish to join other areas with “skyscrapers” throughout our city. I would be against easing of height restrictions.
